Ankle range of movement has been shown to be a factor in falls in elderly and a factor in functional ankle instability.  Normal physiological range of movement (ROM) is a key short term objective for treatment clinicians.


This practical video will provide valuable ankle release techniques to improve outcomes from stiff ankle athletes or clients.  Techniques are presented in an ascending order of difficulty starting with mild soft tissue releases, progressing to ankle capsule frictions then into seatbelt mobilisations utilizing leverage techniques.
